This privacy policy describes how personal data of users of swieradow.travel ("the Site") — an independent travel guide to Świeradów-Zdrój and the Izera Mountains — is collected and processed.

1. Data controller

The data controller is the owner of swieradow.travel. For matters related to data protection contact: privacy@swieradow.travel.

2. What data we collect

Depending on your interaction with the Site we may collect:

• Email address — when subscribing to the newsletter or using the contact form.
• Message content — if you use the contact form.
• IP address and technical information (browser type, operating system) — automatically, for security and abuse prevention.
• Cookies — strictly necessary cookies for the site to function and, with your consent, anonymous analytics cookies.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Your data is processed:

• based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for the newsletter and optional cookies;
• for fulfilling your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — when you contact us via the form;
• based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for site security and spam prevention.

We retain data no longer than necessary. Contact form messages — up to 12 months from last correspondence. Newsletter subscribers — until unsubscribe.

We use SSL/TLS encryption, anti-spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), regular backups and security monitoring. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

We reserve the right to update this policy. Any changes will be published on this page with the updated date.
